Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to troubleshoot and repair server and data center hardware at the board and component level. The role requires hands-on work with CPUs, GPUs, power systems, FPGAs, and ASICs, with travel to training in Mexico.

You will use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, perform root-cause analysis, read schematics and PCB layouts, and support continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronics repair or troubleshooting experience.
• Strong board-level and component-level diagnostic skills.
• Experience repairing enterprise servers, networking equipment, storage systems, or similar electronics.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
• Experience with advanced test equipment required.
• BGA rework, X-ray inspection, and thermal analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Important: Candidates must be able to travel to Mexico for training and have valid international travel documentation.
