The Electronic Technician analyzes job requests received from various departments for priority, material requirements and scope of project. Primary responsibilities include: plan, coordinate, and perform all operations required to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, modify, calibrate, test and service control systems in support of steel production and related plant operations. Work involves a basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers, industrial control devices, electrical wiring, and principles of operation and application of equipment.
This job requires experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, with a machine electrical background and a completed Training Checklist for this job. This incumbent should possess basic computer literacy. The incumbent must also be able to pass a written test.
