Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including automated production systems.

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Coldwater, Michigan (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Shift: 3rd Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Shift Differential: $1.50/hr

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $27 – $40/hour (based on experience)
• Overtime: 48+ hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including automated production systems
• Perform maintenance on production and processing equipment to reduce downtime
• Diagnose complex electrical issues and implement safe, effective solutions
• Work with modern automation systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and control circuits
• Perform installation and minor mechanical repairs as needed
• Support other maintenance functions and departments when required
• Maintain tools, documentation, and ensure proper housekeeping after work completion
• Adapt to evolving technologies and continuously improve technical skills

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience working with 480V electrical systems
• Experience with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and industrial scales
• Strong troubleshooting skills down to the component/circuit board level
