Job summary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Oregon seeks an Electronic System Control Craftworker to test, install, and maintain digital electronic equipment and data/control systems.

You will support installation projects, review plans, and ensure system reliability in a demanding environment. Coordinate with engineering staff, provide design recommendations, and manage OT equipment including PLCs, switches, servers and firewalls.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform testing and maintenance on electronic systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting schematics/diagrams.
• Capability to calibrate, adjust, and retest equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use test equipment to determine operating conditions or malfunctions.
• Develop standard practices for installation, upgrade, inspection, testing and preventive maintenance.
• Install, modify, maintain and repair digital electronic equipment and data/ control systems.
• Manage networked OT equipment including switches, servers, PLCs and firewalls.
• Implement cyber security protocols.
