Job summary

6 Degrees Search in Memphis seeks a Lead Security Systems Engineer/Technician to focus on programming and commissioning. You will work on commercial security installations, including access control and IP video, at large facilities, with occasional local travel.

The role combines startup/commissioning with system upgrades and integrations for our high-end clients. The ideal candidate has 3–10+ years in commercial security, certifications from Lenel, Genetec, or similar, and a strong track record

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of commercial security installation and programming experience.
• Experience with Access Control & IP Video.
• Certifications with Lenel, Software House/Ccure 9000, Genetec, S2, AMAG, or Prowatch.

Responsibilities

• Startup, commissioning and programming at large commercial facilities.
• Perform integration conversions and upgrades to new systems.
• Support onsite in Memphis with occasional work for other local clients.

Are you a Lead Electronic Security Engineer / Security Technician that would prefer to concentrate primarily on programming/commissioning? This position will support a well-known client working primarily onsite in Memphis. You will also occasionally support other high-end commercial/industrial customers in the area. Details follow:

Aggressively growing security systems integrator that is growing both locally and nationally has an immediate need for a lead security integration specialist. We are looking for a Lead Security Systems Engineer (Access Control and VMS Systems) to perform a combination of startup/commissioning and programming at large commercial/industrial facilities. You also will work on integration conversions and upgrades to new systems. We are looking for someone with 3-10++ years of commercial security (Access Control & IP Video) installation and programming experience. Must have extensive commercial electronic security experience and preferably be certified with one or more of the following Access Control Manufacturers: Lenel, SW House / Ccure 9000, Genetec, S2, AMAG, or Prowatch.
