VTG is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Technician to install, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental electronic components and systems in Washington, DC. Qualifications

  • 3+ years of installation experience with physical security access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection hardware.
  • Experience with one or more systems in Access Control, IDS and CCTV categories.
  • Certifications in any of the above are a plus; willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic security components and systems.
  • Review system logs and error logs for problem indications.
  • Inspect access control, video surveillance and intrusion devices for full functionality.
  • Test devices on-site to verify correct operation and log results.
  • Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specs to simplify maintenance.
  • Analyze test data and calibrate circuitry to verify performance.
