Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Security Specialist Technician in Anniston, Alabama, to install, test, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems and network infrastructures.

This role serves as the face of Evergreen at customer sites, requiring travel, excellent customer service, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Candidates must have a Secret Clearance and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining ESS systems.
• Field experience installing and servicing systems including programming and network connectivity.
• Great customer service skills.
• Possesses a Secret Clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations.
• Collaborates with in-house Evergreen teams to improve installations.
• Reads and comprehends blueprints, project instructions, and company forms.
• Installs conduit as necessary.
• Travels as necessary.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Completes all other duties assigned within qualifications.

The Opportunity

This opportunity as a Security Specialist Technician is perfect for an experienced low-voltage Technician based in Anniston, Alabama! This individual will serve as a field representative to install, test, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot various electronic security systems and network infrastructures.

Pay range is $25 - $45 per hour for well-qualified candidates.
