Job summary

Chenega MIOS SBU is seeking an Electronics Technician II to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems including access control and intrusion detection. The role supports Department of Defense security projects at various locations and requires a Secret clearance.

You will read blueprints, install wiring, configure systems, and travel to project sites as needed. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and solid communication

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience with electronic security systems or related work.
Experience with low-voltage wiring, IP networks, and alarm systems.
Active Secret security clearance required.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install and service electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection).
Read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Install conduit, cabling, equipment racks, and system hardware.
Configure systems, support network integration, and perform testing.
Document work performed and maintain tools and equipment.
Provide on-site technical support and customer training.
Follow all safety and quality standards.
Travel to project sites as required.
Other duties as assigned
