Job summary

Cennox is seeking an Electronic Security Installer to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. You will install, service, and maintain intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems for commercial clients, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or relevant technical training preferred.
Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Experience with intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
Knowledge of local/national electrical codes.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on contracted equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
Test and verify system functionality and communicate with monitoring centers.
Coordinate installation schedules and communicate with customers on timelines.
Prepare job estimates and maintain installation records.
