Job summary

Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) seeks an Electronic Resources Librarian to manage the library’s electronic resources, access, and collection development in a collaborative academic setting. The role involves coordinating with departments to ensure optimal access and budget oversight.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement (up to two remote days per week after six months) and a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement, paid time off, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Two years of professional library experience including cataloging, serials, or electronic resources.

Responsibilities

• Determine collection development strategies and manage resource access.
• Coordinate library collection development and budgeting processes with internal teams.
• Maintain access to print and electronic resources via OPAC, discovery tools, ILS/LSP, and vendor interfaces.
• Support OhioLINK collaborations and licensing discussions with vendors.
• Provide user instruction, troubleshoot e-access issues, and engage with stakeholders.
