Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician in Mount Pleasant, WI to support subassembly and final assembly, inspect, and test subassemblies and finished products.

The role involves identifying electronic components, using common tools, and producing quality inspection reports. Responsibilities include assisting with engineering measurements, ensuring calibrated equipment, and contributing to continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have strong inspection experience and attention to detail.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing servers to subassembly level.
• Ability to read prints, interpret codes and perform measurements precisely.
• Experience with PPAP and AS9100 context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and identify electronic components and use common tools.
• Support subassembly, final assembly, and testing of subassemblies and assemblies.
• Perform final inspections and prepare quality inspection reports.
• Verify repaired units meet appearance, functionality, and quality standards.
• Provide feedback on trends or unusual failure conditions to supervisors.
• Assist Quality Engineers with measurement analysis of production launches.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.

The Quality Technician will support subassembly & final assembly operations, and testing subassemblies, as well as final assemblies and assist this Quality Department as needed.Pay: $20-23/HR based on experience (10% shift premium for 2nd & 3rdShift)Available Shifts: 1st 2nd and 3rd shift availableResponsibilities:Possessing the ability to be able to recognize and identify different electronic components and have experience and familiarity of use of common electronic toolsSupporting subassembly & final assembly operations, and testing subassemblies, as well as final assembliesPerforming final inspection as needed and preparing quality inspection reports.Verifying repaired units adhere to established standards of appearance, functionality, and qualityHaving visual acuity to read prints and interpret codes and/or alpha-numeric information on wire and componentsInspecting refurbished product prior to shipment to maintain conformance with quality and appearance standardsProviding feedback to supervisors of any observed trends or unusual failure conditions.Assisting Quality Engineers with measurement analysis of Production Launch runs and other duties as assigned.Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.Qualifications:Experience with troubleshooting and repair of servers, down to the subassembly level, including but not limited to the removal and replacement of hard drives, memory, motherboards, etc.High school diploma or GED requiredExperience as an Inspector or quality technician.High-level visual awareness and advanced organizational skills.Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to learn new applications and programsAbility to work alone with minimal supervision.Ability to analyze, interpret and effectively communicate technical information.Ability to stand for longer periods and must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.Why you should come work with us:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.Basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage provided by employer.Supplemental life insurance and long-term disability coverage options available.401K with employer contribution.Personal, Vacation, and Holiday paid time off for all full-time employees.Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center available for all employees.Employees are continuously encouraged to learn and grow their careers in smart manufacturing.The company is a global leader in smart manufacturing and industrial internet services.
