Zing Recruiting, in partnership with an established automotive manufacturer in the San Antonio, TX area, is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years electronics engineering experience.
• Hands-on PCB design, circuit development, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware in C/C++.
• Proficiency with PCB design software such as Altium Designer or Eagle.
• Strong testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CAN Bus / LIN or other automotive protocols preferred.
• Experience in automotive electronics or embedded product development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot electronic hardware and embedded control systems for automotive applications.
• Design and develop PCBs/PCBAs using Altium Designer or similar tools.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded firmware using C/C++.
• Design and integrate microcontroller-based electronic systems.
• Work with CAN/LIN automotive communication protocols.
• Prototype development, product validation, testing, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and suppliers for new product development.
• Support products from concept through production launch and drive improvements.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in PCB design, embedded systems, firmware development, and electronic product development from concept through production.

• Pay: $120,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience
• Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus opportunity, generally ranging up to 5%–15%, negotiated at hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible Engineering hours (6:00 AM–3:00 PM, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot electronic hardware and embedded control systems for automotive applications.
• Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs/PCBAs) using Altium Designer or similar software.

Electronics Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of electronics engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB design, circuit development, and electronic hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware development using C/C++.
• Proficiency with PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar tools.
• Strong electronic testing, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with CAN Bus, LIN, or other automotive communication protocols preferred.
• Experience in automotive electronics, HVAC controls, industrial controls, or embedded product development preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and collaborate across Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
