Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Operations Associate responsible for cable/harness assembly, support of electronic cabinets, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Duties include hand soldering, mechanical assembly, inspection, and wiring per technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret electronic/mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Able to obtain IPC-620 and/or J Standard 001 certifications.
• Experience with cable/harness mechanical assembly preferred.
• Able to work with solder paste, flux, and solder fumes.
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Solder, assemble cables/harnesses, and perform mechanical assembly.
• Inspect assemblies and perform point-to-point wiring as needed.
• Assemble electronic cabinets and consoles.
• Troubleshoot wire issues and maintain documentation.
