Current/prior legal billing experience is required!

Our well known law firm client in Boston is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented eBilling Coordinator with extensive experience in the legal billing systems (Aderant, Elite, 3e) to join their team. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely electronic billing for clients, while adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and validate legal time entries for accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines.
  • Prepare and distribute draft and final electronic bills in various formats (e.g.,Legal Tracker Collaborati,Serengeti, etc)
  • Analyze and resolve e-billing discrepancies and rejections from clients and vendors.
  • Maintain and update master client files and billing codes in the billing system.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track billing performance and identify trends.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys,staff,and clients regarding e-billing issues and procedures.
  • Research and stay informed about evolving e-billing standards and regulations.
  • Assist with other billing and accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an eBilling Specialist in a law firm environment.
  • Strong understanding of e-billing standards and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel,PowerPoint) and email applications.
