Job summary

WITRON Logistik + Informatik GmbH in New Jersey seeks an Electromechanical Technician to maintain automated systems, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and support operators in daily operations.

You will use CMMS, follow 5S practices, and contribute to high system reliability in a fast-paced logistics environment. 1–2 years of relevant experience and hands-on tool skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Electromechanical Technician experience
• Experience maintaining and repairing automated systems (conveyors, cranes, hoists)
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of AC/DC systems and drive technology
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical measuring tools
• Safety-conscious and professional

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Perform unplanned and reactive electrical and mechanical repairs
• Execute planned maintenance work orders per policies
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• Monitor system performance and CMMS usage
• Provide non-technical support to operators
• Replace and set up components
• Document maintenance activities accurately
• Apply 5S principles in the workspace
• Support commissioning stages with project teams
