Job summary

WITRON Winter Haven, FL is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain automated systems, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. You will document tasks, uphold safety, and minimize downtime while ensuring high system performance.

You will work with CMMS, follow 5S principles, and collaborate with operators. Flexibility for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years minimum experience as an Electromechanical Technician.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing automated systems (conveyors, cranes, hoists).
• Skilled with hand/power tools and electrical measurement devices.
• Familiarity with AC/DC systems and drive technology; PLC basics.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and interpret controls and symbols.
• Safety-minded, detail-oriented, able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform unplanned and reactive electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Execute planned maintenance work orders per policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Monitor system performance and maintain operational awareness.
• Use CMMS to document maintenance activities accurately.
• Replace and set up electrical and mechanical components.
• Keep workspace clean and organized per 5S principles.
• Support operators and participate in commissioning tasks when needed.
