Synthomer's Ohio facility seeks an Electromechanical Technician to maintain the Pilot Plant, perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance, and ensure safe, timely execution of activities. The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of Pilot Plant by ensuring that breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on facility systems are carried out in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This position is responsible for the electrical and mechanical installation of new equipment as well as repair, inspection, and calibration of existing equipment. This person is also responsible for accurate record keeping and input of data into the plant maintenance management system.
Minimum Level of Education: High School Diploma/GED
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 - 5 years of Industrial electrical/mechanical or equivalent experience
Certified Electrician or Craftsman preferred but not required
The plant currently works two 8 hour Maintenance shifts, Days and afternoons, five days a week. This could change but not currently planned. Overtime may be required but is currently not common.
