Job summary

SQA Services is seeking an Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level 2) to support a major data center program at a supplier facility in Lexington, Virginia. The role focuses on inspections of chillers, AHUs, and electromechanical assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will perform in-process and final inspections, read engineering drawings, witness FATs, and maintain inspection documentation. This is a full-time, on-site contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience performing electromechanical inspections in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in performing visual and dimensional inspections per drawings/specifications.
• Familiarity with factory acceptance testing (FAT) processes is a plus.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace tools for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on chillers, AHUs, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections per drawings and specifications.
• Inspect structural fabrication, rivets, and mechanical assemblies.
• Support FAT and witness inspections as needed.
• Verify supplier adherence to inspection plans and quality requirements.
• Review and compile inspection documentation and sign-off packages.
• Identify nonconformances and support corrective action closure.
• Provide weekly updates on production and quality performance.

SQA Services is seeking an Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level 2) to support a major data center infrastructure program at a supplier facility in Lexington, Virginia.

This role focuses on inspection activities related to chillers, air handling units, structural fabrication, and electromechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical inspection experience andthe ability to support production quality activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time, on-site contract role with immediate need and potential for extension.

• Location: Lexington, VA
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)
• Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)
• Duration: 3 months (potential extension)

• Perform in-process and final inspections on chillers, air handling units, and electromechanical assemblies
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections per drawings and specifications
• Inspect structural fabrication, rivets, and mechanical assemblies
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and witness inspections
• Verify supplier execution to inspection plans and quality requirements
• Review and compile inspection documentation and sign-off packages
• Identify and document nonconformances and support corrective action closure
• Provide weekly updates on production and quality performance
• Utilize Google Sheets, Gmail, and Google Drive for reporting and communication
