Job summary

Ken’s Foods in McDonough, GA is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Mechanic to keep our packaging lines running smoothly. You’ll diagnose PLC-controlled equipment, repair conveyors, tune VFDs, and rebuild pumps on the production floor.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with strong PLC, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with PLC troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics; pass required testing with 60%+.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, find, and resolve issues across plant systems.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair automated packaging equipment.
• Read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Repair power and control circuits including PLCs.
• Support plant utilities: steam, compressed air, and refrigeration.
