Job summary

DOC Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment at client sites across the Ithaca area and surrounding cities.

You will troubleshoot failures, perform preventive maintenance, and repair using hand and power tools. The role requires reading schematics, a valid driver's license, and at least 2 years of experience with electromechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.

General Position Summary

The position of Field Service Maintenance Technician provides preventative and reactive maintenance services within the target city and surrounding areas. The equipment includes, but is not limited to, paint shaker devices, blind cutting machines, mobility carts, cutters, wood saws, tile saws, wire, and carpet carousels.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and then providing a solution
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers
