Job summary

Photonics Ops South, A CACI Company, is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer with hands-on experience in electro-optical system integration, test planning, and test execution.

You will develop system-level test plans and fixtures for optical and communication systems, perform troubleshooting, and support component selection across optical, electrical and mechanical domains. This role requires 3+ years of electro-optical bring-up and proficiency with VOAs, OSAs, Power Meters and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in bring-up of electro‑optical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hardware/software and opto‑mechanical system integration.
• Development of system‑level test plans, based on system requirements.
• Development of system test approaches and test fixtures, especially for optical systems.
• Definition and execution of system optical and/or communication performance‑tests.
• Prototype module test and debug support.
• Support of optical, electrical and mechanical component selection and test.
• System‑level troubleshooting.
• Develop documentation to support troubleshooting efforts.
• Must be willing to work Second and Third shifts as needed.
