Job Overview

As an electrical engineer, you will design and integrate radar systems and manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process to support Electro-optic Infrared (EO/IR) systems.

At Booz Allen, you will transform Mission Systems requirements to improve EO/IR performance of various platforms. Your responsibilities include working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies, augmenting designs and algorithms to enhance system performance, and collaborating with teams to address current challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process for EO/IR systems.
  • Collaborate with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms.
  • Assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance.
  • Work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations for warfighter capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Experience in EO/IR systems.
  • Knowledge of systems integration challenges.

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field.
  • Secret clearance.
Nice If You Have
  • Experience with modern Navy EO/IR systems.
  • Experience with the SETR process.
  • Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting.
  • Knowledge of system targeting algorithms and test techniques.
  • Ability to analyze EO/IR designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration ease.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
