Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Test Technician to plan, lay out, and test moderately complex electronic and electro-mechanical devices. The role requires troubleshooting, data analysis, and maintaining testing equipment.

A Secret clearance is required and lean manufacturing awareness is a plus. High school diploma with 6–24 months of industrial experience, strong mechanical skills, and ability to read assembly prints are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6–24 months of industrial experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience using hand tools.
• Ability to read assembly prints and follow written instructions.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Hands-on approach and strong problem solving skills.
• Experience with setup, repair and maintenance of equipment; lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, and test moderately complex electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
• Determine proper test setups and troubleshoot issues; notify engineers as needed.
• Prepare graphs and data tables; maintain and analyze testing data.
• Calibrate and operate environmental test equipment.
• Assist in designing tools and fixtures to improve production efficiency.
• Coordinate multiple testing projects to meet schedules.
• Perform related duties of comparable complexity.
