Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking an Electro Mechanic to join our night shift team in Chillicothe, MO. The role focuses on installing, configuring, troubleshooting, calibrating and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment in an industrial plant environment.

You will read and interpret schematics, diagnose PLC systems, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operations. The position requires leveraging test equipment, following safety standards, and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Technology.
• 6 months’ work experience, or 3 years in Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Technology area.

Responsibilities

• Performs PLC control level diagnosis by monitoring PLC programs and wiring.
• Reads complex electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and wiring diagrams for installation and repair.
• Troubleshoots, installs and calibrates instrumentation and control circuits.
• Maintains and repairs major electronic, electrical and mechanical systems and devices per specifications.
• Performs preventive maintenance and keeps areas organized and safe.
