VIAVI Solutions is seeking an Electro‑Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment. The role ensures equipment reliability, supports production continuity, and serves as the on‑duty technical expert for shift leadership.

You will work in a 12‑hour rotating shift pattern and participate in safety, health, and environmental requirements while documenting actions and reporting equipment performance daily.

Formación

• Two years minimum maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate of Science in Electronics or equivalent.
• At least one year of formal mechanical coursework; five years production maintenance may substitute.
• Electronics/electrical education cannot be substituted.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve issues in electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Rebuild, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using blueprints, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Continuously monitor equipment and plant support systems to prevent stoppages or product loss.
• Serve as lead investigator for equipment interruptions or SHE incidents.
• Implement corrective actions, including hardware/software changes or process improvements.
• Ensure all maintenance is completed properly and documented.
