Leidos' Defense Systems / Manufacturing is seeking a Mid-Level Production Test Technician to join our Defense team in Huntsville, AL, supporting the CHGB program. You will work with engineers to test avionics and electrical assemblies under varied environmental conditions, using shaker systems and testing software.
Responsibilities include executing procedures, analyzing results, and collaborating across teams to meet technical and schedule requirements, with potential DoD program exposure.

Leidos' Defense Systems / Manufacturing is seeking a talented and qualified Mid-Level Production Test Technician to join our Defense team in Huntsville, AL supporting the Common Hypersonic Glide Body (CHGB) Program. You will work closely with a team of engineers functionally and environmentally test items to ensure that they meet unique technical requirements and work to solve complex problems.
Perform electrical testing of Avionics components during multiple Environmental conditions.
Perform electrical testing of Circuit Card Assemblies.
Create and analyze random vibration, ignition shock, and pyroshock testing profiles within testing software.
Operate electrodynamic shaker systems to support testing efforts.
Execute test procedures to support testing and vehicle delivery.
Analyze test results to determine results in accordance with testing criteria.
Work with
Collaborate with multiple teams to meet our technical and schedule requirements.
High school diploma/GED with at least 2+ years of relevant experience in testing or manufacturing.
Experience in a MIL-STD-810 Test Environment
Background in Manufacturing and/or Test.
Ability to read and interpret Mechanical / Electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team.
Experience working with Thermal, Pressure, Acceleration, and Vibration test equipment.
The following skills/abilities are desired:
Active security clearance.
Experience supporting DoD programs related to missile systems, reentry vehicles, or hypersonic technologies.
Prior work in assembly, integration, or testing of missile systems.
Experience supporting rapid development, prototyping, or fast-paced engineering programs.
Experience in Windchill.
IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
The ideal candidate would have experience in environmental and dynamic testing and have a current DoD Secret clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
