Job description

Make Quality Possible

Every precise casting that ships on time depends on equipment that runs safely and reliably. As our Electro‑Mechanical Technician, you’re the guardian of that reliability—setting up die cast systems for quality output, solving problems at the source, and keeping processes dialed in through data‑driven decisions.

Your Impact
  • End‑to‑end upkeep: maintain plant structures and critical utilities (electrical, heating, plumbing), restore machine functionality, and service hydraulic systems across varied production equipment.
  • Hands‑on craftsmanship: perform machining and bench operations to alter/repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.
  • Rapid recovery: troubleshoot faults and complete repairs; execute preventive maintenance to prevent repeat issues.
  • Data to action: own SPC charting—read trends, interpret what they mean, and adjust processes/equipment so parts remain within specification.
  • Flex where needed with additional duties to support production.
What Sets You Up for Success
  • Intermediate troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborative approach with clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with computers for diagnostics, documentation, and process analysis.
  • Forklift operation capability.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in your area/location.
Credentials
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Approximately 1.5 years of technical experience leveraging mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
The Realities of the Work
  • Lift and carry: frequently 5–25 lbs; occasionally 25–75 lbs; rarely more than 75 lbs.
  • Be on your feet: stand and/or walk continuously for 8–12 hours.
  • Move with purpose: push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach on an occasional to frequent basis during the shift.
  • Use power/vibrating tools for extended periods (8–12 hours).
  • Operate motorized vehicles as part of daily duties.
  • Work in high‑noise areas requiring hearing protection for the full shift.
