Electro Mechanical Technician 2 - Weekend Days
This position offers a pay range of $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr. We operate with the highest level of integrity, seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Our manufacturing operation is stable and successful. The work is fast-paced, but we provide clear rules, direction, and a supportive team environment.
Standard Work Hours
Weekend Nights: F-Su, 4pm – 4am
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits controlling machinery.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Install electrical and electronic controls using schematics or blueprints.
- Possess knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs.
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts.
- Install and monitor electrical equipment for hazards and performance.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
- Assemble, install, test, and repair electrical fixtures and equipment.
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures, completing circuits as per diagrams.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and testing of circuits and equipment.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Group Leader.
Qualifications
- Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in using a computer for parts search and work entry into CMMS.
Job Requirements
- Standing for long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
- Pre-employment physical, including a baseline test lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Must Have
- Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years’ experience.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits.
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints, and knowledge of electrical power and water systems.
