Job summary

Pure Fishing is seeking a skilled Electro/Mechanical Technician for the 2nd shift to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a range of machinery and systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements include 3+ years of related experience or an associate degree plus hands-on work, strong PLC programming knowledge and electrical troubleshooting, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Join Our Team as an Electrical/Mechanical Technician at Pure Fishing!

Pure Fishing is seeking a skilled and motivated Electro/Mechanical Technician on 2nd Shift to help keep our production lines running smoothly. If you're ready for a hand-on role where every day brings something new, we want to hear from you.

What will you do?

You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and mechanical systems—from motors and conveyors to pumps, fans, and air conditioning units.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Diagnose mechanical issues through detailed equipment inspections.
2. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and components as needed.
3. Adjust and fine-tune mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
4. Clean and lubricate parts to maintain efficiency and longevity.
5. Identify, source, and order replacement parts as necessary.
6. Inspect completed repairs to verify functionality and quality.
7. Consistently adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
8. Request new tools, materials, or equipment as required.
9. Operate shop tools such as mills, drill presses, and lathes with precision.
10. Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
11. Work independently, adapting methods and tools to solve unique challenges.
12. Resolve most technical issues independently, escalating only complex problems when needed.
13. Mentor and support less experienced technicians when appropriate.
14. Fabricate custom parts and solutions with minimal supervision.
15. Perform additional duties as needed to support overall team success.

What Makes You a Great Catch?
