Job Overview

Our high-speed automated packaging equipment helps customers excel in competitive food and pharmaceutical markets. We focus on innovation and industry leadership. The Electro-Mechanical Technician plays a vital role in our success, building, commissioning, testing, and demonstrating machines for customer applications, using detailed documentation and schematics.

Essential Functions
  1. Build and modify mechanical assemblies using hand and power tools based on drawings and bill of materials.
  2. Wire machines, panels, and control circuitry up to 575 Volts, following NFPA 79 standards.
  3. Position, level, and integrate system equipment, including third-party functionalities.
  4. Perform software loading, firmware flashing, and I/O checks.
  5. Troubleshoot live power and control circuitry issues.
  6. Set parameters, test, debug equipment, and modify software as needed.
  7. Conduct customer factory acceptance tests and train customers on equipment operation.
  8. Adhere to safety regulations, use protective gear, and report hazards.
  9. Promote quality and environmental awareness.
  10. Learn product applications through system testing.
  11. Travel up to 10% as required.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Vocational degree in engineering, electrical, or mechanical discipline (minimum 4 years).
  • At least 3 years experience with automated manufacturing or packaging machinery.
  • At least 2 years experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Packaging, Automation, or Mechatronics.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and quality-focused.
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation.
  • Experience with industrial motion control systems (e.g., Rockwell, Beckhoff).
  • Proficient in Windows Office.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., work with moving parts and at heights, and perform repetitive tasks.
