Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Allentown, PA, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a 6PM-6AM shift. You will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control, electromechanical, and fluid power systems in a busy manufacturing environment.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience and a strong ability to analyze systems, perform rigging, pipefitting, welding, and work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent.
• 2+ years of industrial electrical AND mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, military, or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical control, electromechanical, and fluid power systems.
• Analyze electrical control systems and apply industry standards to size components and wire control circuits.
• Perform basic rigging, mechanical maintenance, pipefitting, and welding tasks in an industrial environment.
• Apply mathematical concepts, technical data, and system documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Communicate technical information effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain equipment and solve complex problems.

Position Summary

Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown is near many major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful® and Pro Plan® brands—product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. The current shift option for this role is 6PM-6AM.

Requirements

• High School or GED Equivalent
• 2+ years of industrial electrical AND mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, military, or related environment required.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.39. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
