Job summary

Staff Perm in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Production Test Technician to set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical assemblies used in manufacturing.

Under general supervision, you will follow SOPs, prepare reports, assist in test equipment setup, and help ensure quality and traceability across products including UAS flight/test and radiation/explosive detection test processes.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Citizen or permanent resident status required; no visa transfers or sponsorship.
• Ability to test, troubleshoot and document results.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints and diagrams.
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
• Performs electronic, mechanical and test functions following SOPs and instructions.
• Maintain production records using Microsoft Office; participate in continuous improvement.
