Magna-Power Electronics in Flemington, New Jersey, seeks an Electro-Mechanical Production Assembler to join our team. You will assemble final components, using hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, and tablet instructions. Expect hands-on training across Magna-Power teams on complex products.

Responsibilities include securing assemblies, wiring harnesses, and reading bills of materials while maintaining quality and safety standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of crimping, soldering, and assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with BOMs, assembly drawings and manufacturing docs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro‑mechanical products using hand and power tools to chassis and wire harnesses.
• Work in push line or batch process to maximize labor efficiency.
• Use wire splicing and crimping tools to complete harnesses.
• Follow work instructions verbally, visually, and via tablet.
• Read work orders and follow BOMs and operations.
• Perform final assembly per specifications.

Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Production Assembler will perform a combination of duties in assembly of final assembly components according to specifications, using hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, and following verbal and tablet instructions. Given the complex nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Using hand and power tools to secure assemblies to chassis and connect them using wire harnesses
• Working in a push line or batch process to combine tasks, reduce tool changes, and effectively maximize labor efforts
• Using wire splicing and crimping tools to complete various wire harnesses
• Following established work instructions provided verbally, visually, and following tablet-based work instructions
• Reading work orders and following bill of materials and bill of operations
• Assemble electro-mechanicalproducts

Education & Skills Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-year experience is preferred
• Good mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Knowledge in performing crimping, soldering, and assembly is preferred
• Knowledge and understanding BOMs, assembly drawings and other related manufacturing documents is preferred
