Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Equipment Technician to perform fabrication, installation, calibration, testing and repair of mechanical equipment and systems on the production floor.

This entry-level role supports mechanical engineers and manufacturing teams, following standard procedures and supervised guidance on day-to-day tasks. Responsibilities include hands-on production floor work, equipment troubleshooting, implementing continuous improvements, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

2 years related education, experience and/or training in a similar position.
Experience in electro-mechanical, automotive, farm equipment, or industrial maintenance is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Adhere to ASI's Safety Policy and practices and report any potential unsafe condition or concern to the Safety department immediately and/or to your direct supervisor.
Ensure proper safety practices are in place and enforced.
Promote, improve and enforce 6S and safety objectives.
Hands-On position, involved in on-going production floor activities.
Resolve production equipment concerns, including troubleshooting and implementing continuous improvements within cross functional team
