Job summary

Hamilton Tanks LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to keep manufacturing equipment running smoothly. You’ll develop preventive maintenance plans, lead root-cause analyses on line stops, and implement lasting fixes promoting uptime and safety.

You’ll diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, service CNC machines, HVAC systems, and industrial automation equipment. The role is hands-on, safety-conscious, and focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician in manufacturing.
• Deep mechanical knowledge with hydraulic and electrical skills.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing CNC machines.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and routine maintenance.
• Background in a manufacturing environment and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Lead failure analyses and complete scheduled and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults with speed.
• Service and repair hydraulic systems, power units, cylinders and valves.
• Troubleshoot industrial automation equipment and CNC controls.
• Conduct machine safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance across the facility.
