Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment aligned with safety, predictive and productive maintenance programs.

You will work on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, generate work orders, and support uptime goals while following established safety standards. The role offers a path for growth within a large, global building solutions leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work on low/medium/high voltages per safety standards.
• Estimate materials, supplies, and timeframes for installations/repairs.
• Knowledge of testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical & mechanical equipment.
• Ability to use volt/ohm/meg and temperature meters for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PLC logic and interfaces.
• Industrial Maintenance/Machining Technology Diploma/Degree with 3 years maintenance experience or 5+ years preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years installing/troubleshooting AC/DC controls and medium/low voltage circuits.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with hydraulic/mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and pumps.
• Knowledge of Windows and MS Office; CMMS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize testing and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repair.
• Lockout / Tagout energy sources to prevent injuries during repair/maintenance.
• Repair or replace worn parts on equipment as needed.
• Generate work orders with detailed assessment and solution.
• Evaluate alternative solutions to limit downtime on priority equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and co-workers as a team player.
• Use manuals, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical schematics and drawings for system maintenance.

Job Summary

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize testing and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repair
• Lockout / Tagout all energy / residual sources preventing injury during repair and/or preventative maintenance
• Repair or replace all broken / worn-out parts on all equipment as necessary
• Generate work orders on each machine repaired, including detailed description of assessment and solution
• Evaluate alternative solutions (repair/replacements) on priority equipment to limit downtime
• Accept the input of supervisors and co-workers, provide input, and serve as a genuine team player
• Utilize information and resources for system maintenance and repair (Manuals - Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical schematics and other drawings)

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work on low medium high voltages according to established safety standards

• Knowledge of testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical & mechanical equipment
• Ability to use and understand volt/ohm/meg and temperature meters for troubleshooting equipment

• Familiarity with PLC logic and interfaces
