Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking an electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician for our United States-based manufacturing operations. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment, with potential 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, installation, and start-up support for plant systems, plus reading schematics and drawings. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motors, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret schematics, ladder logic, and drawings to support maintenance tasks.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for equipment and projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and automation systems.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and document activities.
• Assist operators and team members with troubleshooting and repairs.
