Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to keep critical aerospace assets mission-ready on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

You’ll blend diagnostics, repair, and continuous improvement to maximize uptime, reliability, and safety across a busy production floor. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems, and documentation in our CMMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably including PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical repair.
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• Valued extras: ultra-high vacuum systems; man lifts; forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Rapidly troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, combustion, electrical, and electronic issues to restore performance.
• Install, assemble, rebuild, and repair a wide range of machinery while supporting facility infrastructure.
• Inspect, operate, and test equipment to verify safe, compliant operation.
• Drive initiatives by participating in projects, interfacing with suppliers, and leading contracting activities; capture all work in the CMMS.

Your mission: safeguard uptime, reliability, and safety across our production floor on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You’ll blend diagnostics, repair, and continuous improvement to ensure every system delivers.

Compensation: $25 - $40, based on experience

Onboarding: Training will be conducted on 1st Shift; availability for 1st Shift is required until training is complete.

Impact you’ll make
