Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Indiana seeks a maintenance technician to keep aerospace manufacturing assets mission-ready on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems, and record work in the CMMS.

Training begins on the 1st shift, with ongoing availability required until completion. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical repair preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and safety practices is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, electrical and electronic issues to restore performance.
• Install, assemble, rebuild and repair a wide range of machinery; support facility infrastructure.
• Document work in the CMMS and interface with suppliers on projects.
