TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Inspector in Farmingdale, NY. The role involves correlation between inspection management and in-process inspectors, performing in-process and final inspections of sub-assemblies and final assemblies across multiple manufacturing stages.

You will work with blueprints, engineering change notices, and company procedures to ensure quality. Essential duties include component insertion and soldering inspections on PCBs and harnesses,

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 8–10 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
• Familiar with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC J-STD-001 and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Must meet the requirements of the company training program.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Component insertion inspection.
• Solder/workmanship inspection on PCBs, multi-wire boards, and sub-assemblies.
• Harness and cable inspection and wiring checks.
• Point-to-point buzz-out of wired assemblies and end-item harnesses.
• Conformal coating inspection and thickness checks.
• Configuration inspection and data entry using the Configuration Management Information System.
• Interfaces with various departments to identify and solve problems involving inspection.
• Assists other inspectors with complex high-level inspections.
• Establishes and maintains records in compliance with company procedures.
• Source inspection for workmanship at vendor facilities in the local area.
• Auditing ionic contamination tests prior to conformal coating.

In-process and some final inspection of sub‐assemblies and final assemblies through various stages of manufacturing, utilizing blueprints, Engineering Change Notices, Interdivisional Work Authorizations, contract reviews and company procedures ***Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**** Component insertion inspection.* Solder/workmanship inspection on printed circuit boards, multi-wire boards, sub‐assemblies and small chassis.* Harness and cable inspection.* Point‐to‐point buzz out of wired assemblies and end item spare harnesses.* Conformal coating inspection.* Configuration inspection and data entry of revision status utilizing the Configuration Management Information system.* Interfaces with various departments to identify and solve problems involving inspection at all levels of manufacturing.* Assists other inspectors with complex high-level inspections.* Establishes and maintains records in compliance with company procedures.* Source Inspection for workmanship at vendor facilities (local area).* Strip force test of solderless wrapped connections.
