Job summary

B&A is seeking aHardware Integration Technician in Madison, AL. The role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, hardware integration, inspection, testing, and basic troubleshooting of computer systems, racks, chassis, and related hardware.

Work from drawings, instructions, and procedures using standard hand tools and test equipment. This development position offers increasing independence while collaborating with Engineering, Production, QA, and other teams to meet quality and production

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and/or completion of a trade/technical program in electronics or related discipline.
• Four years of relevant Navy or military electronics/electrical experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Hands-on experience with electronic or electro-mechanical equipment including assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems including racks and cabling.
• Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs for assembly and testing.
• Identify and report nonconforming material and discrepancies.
• Maintain production documentation and test records.
• Support production, engineering, and QA to resolve issues and improve processes.
