Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, machine vision, or intelligent inspection systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, electronics, sensors, and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial cameras, optics, lighting, and image acquisition.
  • Working knowledge of computer vision fundamentals (image processing, defect detection, classification).

Job description

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in designing, integrating, and deploying computer vision–based inspection and automation solutions. The role combines mechanical design, electronics, sensors, and embedded systems with vision algorithms to deliver reliable, production-grade systems for industrial environments.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, machine vision, or intelligent inspection systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, electronics, sensors, and control systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with industrial cameras, optics, lighting, and image acquisition.
  • Working knowledge of computer vision fundamentals (image processing, defect detection, classification).
Technical Skills
  • Mechanical CAD: SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent
  • Vision & Imaging: OpenCV, Halcon, Cognex, Keyence, or similar platforms
  • Hardware & Controls: PLCs (Siemens / Allen‑Bradley preferred), motion controllers, industrial I/O
  • Edge & Embedded: Jetson, IPCs, ARM‑based systems
  • Communication Protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC-UA
Nice to Have
  • Experience deploying AI/ML-based vision models in production environments
  • Exposure to robotics integration (ABB, FANUC, UR, etc.)
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards and compliance
  • Experience in high‑speed manufacturing or quality inspection systems
