Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Florida is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to work within a collaborative team on electrical wiring for military and commercial aircraft. Responsibilities include supporting design needs, routing wiring harnesses, and project coordination with multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and relevant experience in electrical cable routing, alongside strong communication and problem-solving skills. A DOD Secret Clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

Electromechanical Engineer

Job Title: Electromechanical Engineer

Bill Rate: $77/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team environment within the Vehicle Engineering IPT and support electrical wiring team group with their design needs. Support manufacturing with wiring integration.
• Route wiring harnesses in 3D environment in accordance with NG Standard and AS50881.
• Design and release wiring installations.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to determine solutions to problems quickly and efficiently.

Basic Qualifications for Electrical Engineer 3:

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 4-5 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military and/or commercial aircraft.
• Master’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military and/or commercial aircraft.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period.
• Self-starter with minimal direction.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Visio).
• Proficiency in technical communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a team.

Preferred Qualifications for Electrical Engineer 3:

• STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical).
• Independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience designing and integrating components into larger systems.
• Experience managing projects (schedule and technical performance).
