Torrey Holistics in McKinney, TX is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician for optics and precision systems. You will perform mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly in a cleanroom, following detailed work instructions and drawings, with PPE and strict documentation.

You will assemble housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors and optical assemblies, and perform soldering, bonding, and wire sleeving. Cross‑training and process improvements are encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow test instructions, technical drawings and process documentation.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar production/assembly role.
  • Willingness to wear PPE for 8+ hours per day in a cleanroom.
  • Comfortable with weekend shifts and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly in a cleanroom using calibrated torque tools and fixtures.
  • Assemble machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies per drawings.
  • Execute wire sleeving, soldering, bonding and handle chemicals safely.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and document results; maintain certifications.
  • Support cross‑training and contribute to continuous improvement.

Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician — Optics & Precision SystemsLocation: Mc Kinney, TX 75071Contract: 12 monthsWorkweek: 9/80 scheduleA day on the lineYou suit up in cleanroom PPE, step into the EODAS factory, and begin building precision electro‑optical hardware that supports next‑generation technology for the warfighter. Your bench is set: torque tools calibrated, soldering iron ready, bonding agents labeled, and documentation queued. Through the shift, you assemble and verify components—machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and intricate optical assemblies—following detailed work instructions and technical drawings. You’ll handle chemicals with care, perform delicate wire sleeving, and complete soldering and bonding operations. Quality is constant: you inspect, repair when required, and document results.
