Job summary

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading skills preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Previous experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• Basic assembly skills and prior assembly experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Prior experience using Oracle is preferred.
• Prior hands-on experience with electrical components preferred.
• Ability to interpret point-to-point wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and PPE requirements per established company policies.
• Utilize and maintain inventory systems, such as Kanban or Vendor Managed Inventory.
• Demonstrated understanding of all established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Assemble assigned products per blueprint or work instruction.
• Interpret job paperwork, order status reports, and checklists.
• Follow nonconformance procedures.
• Oracle usage to look up part numbers and locations.
• Work in one department and coordinate part shortages with Supervisors.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area per 6-S program.
• Contribute to a team-oriented, continuous improvement environment.
