Job summary

OPAL Fuels is seeking an Assembly Technician in Oronoco, MN to remanufacture or rebuild components for field service and assemble equipment per engineering drawings.

The role requires three years of industrial or manufacturing experience, electrical-mechanical expertise, and ability to read diagrams. Expect a Monday–Thursday schedule with some local travel and a 60 lb lift requirement.

Qualifications

• Three years of industrial, automotive, or manufacturing experience.
• Three years of electrical-mechanical experience in an assembly capacity required.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read basic diagrams and schematics.
• Coursework or certification in industrial, automotive, or manufacturing preferred.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office products.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 15% (local).

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings.
• Conduit, tube, and pipe bending / threading per print.
• Use common hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric power tools and fork trucks.
• Use of electric powered benders, riveters, drill press and chop saws.
• Maintain accurate records regarding work performed at each production stage.
• Work closely with other technicians to ensure quality control throughout manufacturing.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
• Conduct testing of completed assemblies per checklist.
• Remanufacture or rebuild components for field service operations.
