Qualifications

• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and precision measuring devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and inspect electro‑mechanical products per drawings, specs, and work instructions.
• Ensure assemblies meet ESAB quality standards and customer expectations.
• Follow assembly and testing instructions accurately.
• Perform assembly tasks: drilling, crimping, screwing, deburring, tapping, and measuring.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area per 5S principles.
• Report defective materials, equipment issues, and conditions to supervisor.
• Document assembly, testing, and repair activities in records systems.
• Retrieve and use drawings/documentation from company systems as required.
• Complete tasks per production schedules and supervisor direction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.

We’re looking to hire a talented Electro-Mechanical Assembler based in Denton. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components that support manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products meet quality standards, production schedules, and engineering specifications while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Primary Duties

1. Assemble, test, and inspect electro‑mechanical products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
2. Ensure all assemblies meet ESAB quality standards and customer expectations.
3. Follow assembly and testing instructions thoroughly and accurately.
4. Perform assembly activities including drilling, crimping, screwing, deburring, tapping, and precision measuring.
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
6. Report defective materials, equipment issues, and questionable conditions to the department lead or supervisor.
7. Document assembly, testing, and repair activities using established record‑keeping systems.
8. Retrieve and utilize drawings and documentation from company systems as required.
9. Complete assigned tasks in accordance with production schedules and supervisory direction.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 2–5 years of related electro‑mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; Ability to understand, follow, and communicate verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and precision measuring devices preferred.

Working Conditions

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required while working on the production floor, including safety glasses, steel‑toed footwear, and high‑visibility clothing.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift, move, or position materials weighing up to 50 pounds and push or pull heavier items using approved assistive equipment.
• May occasionally be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment.
• May be assigned to a testing area located outside the production floor and exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
• Occasional overtime may be required to support business and production requirements.
