Job summary

Accuray Incorporated in Madison, WI, is seeking a Production Assembler to assemble, test, and ship products that meet regulatory requirements. Candidate should have strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with experience in electro-mechanical assemblies.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and involves following controlled manufacturing procedures, participating in process improvements, and assisting with tool/fixture development and training of staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in production, manufacturing engineering, general engineering, or 3+ years in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience interpreting product design drawings and related documentation.
• Experience in heavily documented and controlled production processes.
• Experience in product testing and calibration control.
• Experience with ESD and cleanliness control processes.
• Good written and verbal communication with all levels of employees, suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and manufacture product in accordance with quality system requirements, procedures and instructions.
• Perform or assist in inspection/test of received materials, in-process product, and final product.
• Develop and review manufacturing procedures to meet requirements and goals.
• Assist in development of manufacturing instructions and tool/fixture requirements.
• Assist training of manufacturing personnel and deployment of product changes.
• Assist in development of facility requirements (workflow, shelving, storage, workstations).
• Assist review of packaging and shipping requirements to prevent damage.
• Support regulatory affairs to ensure production processes comply with FDA/OSHA/ISO requirements.
