Applied Materials is seeking an Assembler II to perform electro-mechanical assembly and testing in Birch Grove, MT. You will assemble subassemblies, align components, and run go-no-go tests with fixtures and testing devices.

Work follows schematics, wiring diagrams and work orders, maintains a clean, safe environment, and may perform final installations at customer sites. The role requires precision, safety discipline and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine electro-mechanical assembly operations and testing.
• Wire, assemble, test, troubleshoot and calibrate equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety protocols.
• May perform final assembly installations at customer sites.
• Record data and provide status updates on work progress.
• Use hand tools and fixtures for precise locating and positioning of parts.
• Identify defective parts and follow up on corrective actions.
• Complete duties as assigned by supervisor.
