Job summary

Coburn Technologies is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build our machines from the ground up. You will assemble, wire, program, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate equipment before it leaves our facility.

You’ll read blueprints and drawings to perform complete mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and basic soldering. Loading software and testing with diagnostic tools will be required along with teamwork and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical assembly experience preferred.
  • Basic electrical wiring knowledge and computer operation.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble machines from blueprints and work instructions.
  • Wire electrical systems and perform basic soldering.
  • Load software and use diagnostic equipment to test and calibrate machines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues; calibrate equipment before shipping.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and team members to improve processes.

Build It. Test It. Make It Work.Coburn Technologies is looking for a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build our machines from the ground up. This is a true start-to-finish role, where you'll assemble, wire, program, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate equipment before it leaves our facility.What You'll DoBuild complete machines using blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Perform mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and basic soldering.Load software and use computer-based testing and diagnostic equipment.Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate completed machines.Use hand tools, power tools, Volt/Ohm meters, and other testing equipment.Work with Engineering and other team members to solve problems and improve processes.Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.Mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience.Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and computer operation.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.Ability to stand throughout the workday and frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.Why Coburn?You'll have the opportunity to see your work come to life.
